El Corte Ingles is the only major department store you will find all over Spain. There are 2 in Marbella, one by the Palacio de Congress on the way into Marbella Town which specialises mainly in Home Furniture and the other is situated in the heart of Puerto Banus which, if we have to describe, we would say its somewhere between Debenhams and Selfridges in the UK.
Both El Corte Ingles´ now have Starbucks which is extremely popular here. Each El Corte Ingles is slightly different and will sell different brands according to its market. Puerto Banus has a fantastic range of concessions including Maje, Zadig & Voltaire, Pinko, Loewe, Ermenegildo Zegna, Boss, Burberry and many more. The Gourmet Food / Restaurant Section on the second floor has recently had a makeover and is well worth a visit.
Within El Corte Ingles, apart from 5 floors of Shoes, Clothes, Sports, Furniture and Toys there are so many other services including Beauticians, Laser Clinics, Dentists, Key Cutters & Shoe Repairs, Dry Cleaners, Car Garage and Car Cleaning/Valeting. It really is your one stop shop for everything.
Hipercor is the very large supermarket within El Corte Ingles on the ground floor where you can purchase everything you need from food and clothes to electrical goods, gardening items and furniture. It has recently been refurbished and has an amazing selection of food and drink, but it is one of the more expensive supermarkets on the Coast.
Customer Services is on Sotano 2 where you can find all information for VAT returns, car parking tickets, invoices, tickets for concerts and excursions. Remember to also have your passport handy as you may be eligible for 10% discounts as a tourist.

El Corte Ingles at Puerto Banus is located just off the N340, Puerto Banus turn off, approximately 40 minutes from Malaga Airport. As you follow the signs for Puerto Banus you will see the huge department store on the left hand side from the main road. It is located directly opposite Marina Banus.
There is lots of underground parking available. If you have a El Corte Ingles Store Card and you spend 30€ on it, then the first two hours are free. There is also a Whats Hot Card for foreign residents where you can also receive numerous discounts including 2 hours free parking if you spend over 30€.
Buses: There are bus stops outside the entrance to the bus garage and car park with routes to Marbella City Centre and La Canada (Line 1) and Nueva Andalucia and San Pedro (Line 4).
Taxi Rank : Just outside the store you will find taxis.
If you spend over €100 in Hipercor (the supermarket on the ground floor) you can get your shopping delivered free. Service & Telephone Ordering (0034) 952 909 990 here is the Hypercor Website
Toilets and Lifts are situated in the same areas. To the left hand side of the store (if facing the main entrance) and also in the middle of the store at the front. There are toilets with baby changing facilities and toilets for the disabled.
If you think you have left something in the store then lost property is on the basement Sotano 1. They really are quite good and log everything found in the store.
There are some mezzanine levels with travelators. In the middle of the shop you will find 2 sets of escalators which take you from the Ground Floor up to the second floor only. So if you have parked on the 3rd floor you need to take the lifts to the far side of the building.
Below is a guide to the various floors, but the smaller sections are constantly changing around so check on the store guide board as well when you enter El Corte Ingles (although this is often out of date and unable to keep up with all the moving around)
