There’s so much going on along the Costa Del Sol this summer. Our advice is to sign up to the newsletters of the following websites so you’re the first to know about all the acts playing this year as new acts are constantly being added to the list.
The main places for concerts are:
Starlite is a fantastic venue, situated in La Cantera de Nagueles, not far from Swans Secondary School. There are some amazing concerts this year including the fabulous Jamie Cullum, John Legend, Sting, Diana Krull, Jason Derulo and many more. There’s also DJ sessions with Juan Magan, spectacular shows, dancing and lots food and drink.
It´s an incredible place and we highly recommend going there at least once when it´s open in the summer from June until August. You can go up just for a drink too without having to enter the concerts, but check with them direct as each year they change the rules. Sometimes, after midnight you have to pay an entrance fee which includes one drink.
In the past we have seen Jamie Cullum, Santana and Tom Jones. It´s not cheap anymore and the good concerts sell out, so if you really want to see someone, buy your tickets as soon as you can, however, saying that, this year Jamie Cullum seats seem to be reasonably priced compared to other years so grab them whilst you can.
You can find a whole list of Concerts 2019 at Starlite here.
Puente Romano have some great concerts in the summer which are held outside on the main tennis court area. We have had some great nights there with Kool & The Gang, Nile Rogers, Sting and Tom Jones just to name a few. This year The Jacksons are playing at Puente Romano on the 8th August. Another fabulous venue in Fuengirola. They have some fantastic people playing this year. Bob Dylan has already played there this year. There’s Rod Stewart (we have our tickets already) and quite a few festivals. There’s also a back to the 90s night which looks great fun.. Check all Concerts at Marenostrum here.
The Gibraltar Festival this year looks fantastic with acts confirmed so far being Take That, Tom Walker, Melanie C, GoldieRocks and King Calaway. Get your Gibralter Festival Tickets here.
Keep an eye on Teatro Cervantes Malaga for concerts too. They have lots of shows going on throughout the year and occasionally have some fantastic concerts. Teatro Cervantes Malaga
