Below is a list of the 8 Hotels that are actually in Puerto Banus. The last two, Sisu and The Rincon Andaluz are about a 10 minute walk to the boats, it’s an easy walk along the main road and literally 2 minutes by taxi if it’s too hot.
We live here and between us at the office we have stayed in the most of the hotels so where possible we have written personal reviews and our own thoughts. .
If the hotels are fully booked or not quite what you were looking for then you could check out our own holiday apartments in Puerto Banus. They are both in the same complex which is around a 10 minute walk from the actual sea front. We have some great offers throughout the year.
Our Opinion: We have stayed at the Andalucia Plaza and it has great facilities, the entrance lobby will also take your breath away!
Try and get an apartment facing west towards the pool and not too close to the main road where there is some road noise.
The H10 Andalucia Plaza is in Puerto Banus is slight off the main seafront 800 metres from the nearest beach and just 5kms from the centre of Marbella. All of the hotel’s 390 rooms have an ensuite bath, balcony, direct dial telephone, safe, satellite TV and are fully air-conditioned.
There are two swimming pools (one for children), children’s playground, gymnasium, laundry, hairdresser and boutiques There is even a Casino here with free entry for hotel residents (just take your passport).
The Andalucia Plaza has a couple of places where you can get something to eat and drink, but you might prefer to go into Puerto Banus as there is a great choice of bars and restaurants there and it’s literally a few minutes walk away.
Our Opinion For me the Melia Marbella Banus offers the best of all worlds, it’s a five minute seafront walk from the main Puerto Banus Marina so you don’t get much noise, its right on the beach and it’s an excellent hotel with great facilities!
Again you don’t need a car to stay at this hotel, it is not right on the port like the Benabola & Park Plaza but some would think of that as an advantage.
Hotel Melia Marbella Banus is situated right on the beach front beach in Puerto Banus. (This hotel was previously known as the Melia Dinamar Hotel)
The hotel is situated a a short distance away from the very lively and very late nightlife of Puerto Banus, so if you don’t want it you won’t hear it!
The Meliá Marbella Banús has 221 rooms comprising : 212 doubles, 7 Junior Suites, 1 Junior Superior Suite with whirlpool in the terrace, sea-view and 1 penthouse Presidential Suite with a private swimming pool and views of the Mediterranean.
Our Opinion: Benabola is located right on “The Port” and if you are here for a long weekend or you can’t be bothered to drive and want to walk to everything then these apartments are perfect!
The Benabola Aparthotel is in a great situation right at the entrance to the port at Puerto Banus with all its bars, restaurants, designer shops and legendary clubs and nightlife!
The Aparthotel Benabola in Puerto Banus gives clients the choice of one, two or three bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 100 to 350 m2. All apartments are fully furnished and have fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and of Satellite TV.
Many of the apartments offer great views of the Mediterranean Sea and the marina of Puerto Banús itself.
It is right on the seafront and next to Plaza Beach just a few minutes from the trendy Ocean Club and Buddha Beach.
Our Opinion: I stayed at the Pyr Aparthotel a number of times when I was in the process of buying my an apartment and moving over here.
It’s in a great central location within walking distance of all amenities, but is still far enough away from front line Banus to allow you to get some sleep at night!
The Pyr Apartments in Puerto Banus are right at the entrance to Puerto Banus. They are literally a couple of minutes from the large El Corte Ingles Department store, and about an 8 minute walk from the Port and nearest beaches.
The accommodation comprises one bedroom studios or 2 or 3 bedroom air conditioned apartments which have a living area, private balcony and fully equipped kitchenette.
The hotel has its own swimming pool, snack bar and breakfast room where you can get a buffet breakfast if you don’t fancy getting your own.
There is a daily maid service which makes the beds and cleans the room (not washing up though) and a linen change every 3 days.
Our Opinion: These suites are truly in the heart of Puerto Banus, you are within staggering distance of every bar, restaurant and shops that Puerto Banus has to offer.
No need for car hire and the main taxi rank is right outside the hotel. You also face directly on to Plaza Beach.
The Park Plaza Suites are right on the front at Puerto Banus with direct access to one of the best beaches in Marbella and with the incredible night life the port offers.
There is car parking underneath the hotel and all the accommodation is air conditioned and well equipped with all amenities to make your stay there comfortable including a fully fitted kitchenette.
Our Opinion: I haven’t stayed at the hotel but it has a good reputation and great facilities, it is also in a great location right on the beach. The Malibu Apartment complex next to the hotel is built on the land which was the former home of Sean Connery!
It’s not in the centre of Puerto Banus but you can walk along the seaside path into the centre or it’s a few minutes by taxi.

if you want to play golf the area around Marbella has the highest number of golf courses in Europe with 27 golf courses close to the hotel.
Our Opinion: Quite a “sprawly” hotel but accommodation very acceptable.
It’s on the outskirts of Puerto Banus so you may need to take a taxi to get into the maincentre (cost about €6,00-8,00). It’s about a 10 minute walk.
The Bluebay Banus Hotel was formerly the Hotel Rincon Andaluz. It is located in the stylish resort of Puerto Banus, just a few metres from the nearest beach and 7km from the centre of Marbella . The hotel stands in more than 28.000 sq.m of mature subtropical gardens with swimming pools and small lakes.
The Hotel Bluebay Banus is built in the style of a typical Andalusian town, with narrow paved lanes, patios, squares and even a small chapel. Its buildings of no more than two floors house the 315 rooms.
The hotel offers access to more than 30 golf courses within a drive of 30 minutes.
Our Opinion: I haven’t stayed at the hotel but it is somewhere for the younger set.
I have eaten there though and the restaurant is very modern and lively. Over the high season it’s pretty rammed and not really the place to take children.
The only drawback is that it’s on the outskirts of Puerto Banus and really you need to take a taxi costing about €6 or €8 (depending on the time and day) to get into the port’s centre. You can walk but it will take a good 10 minutes.
After a multi-million euro refurbishment in 2010 the SISU Boutique Hotel in Puerto Banus is now very much a place for reality TV stars (TOWIE, Big Brother, models and WAGS). During the summer season there are pool parties and Sunday Chillout Sessions

Sisu’s exclusive restaurant and lounge provides an international menu and the Sisu Cafe is less formal than the restaurant & lounge but still offers style and quality. There is also the Sisu Breeze roof top jacuzzi bar and restaurant.
