Costa Del Sol Blue Flag Beaches
If you're on the beach and spot a Blue Flag logo like the one on the left it means that it has been given an award by meeting the standards set by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
It also means that you are on a clean and well maintained beach that is checked on a regular basis. The eco-label is awarded on an annual basis to beaches and marinas around the world and can only be only held for one season.
In order to qualify the beaches must meet certain criteria including water quality, safety standards, environmental education and information and the provision of services and general environmental management criteria.
