The Hotel Fuerte Marbella overlooks the sea and a sandy beach which is separated from the hotel by a small promenade. The centre of Marbella, Old Town and numerous shops, bars and restaurants are just a few minutes stroll away.
The Hotel Fuerte has 263 well equipped guest rooms, 2 restaurants, a lounge bar and a coffee shop. Dancing or entertainment is provided on most evenings
The hotel’s Olivo restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and the Beach Club El Fuerte specialises in fish dishes and situated right on the beach linked to the hotel through an underground passage.
For recreation and relaxation there are two swimming pools surrounded by subtropical areas, a modern gym, Turkish bath, sauna, massage services and beauty treatments. There is a wide selection of golf courses in close proximity from the hotel, offering discounted rates to hotel guests.

Our opinion: I have eaten several times at the Beach Club el Fuerte. It is right on the beach with the waves almost coming up to the decking at high tide. You can sit inside or dine al fresco and the food is excellent ranging from fresh sardines being grilled on the beach barbecue to some pretty sophisticated fish dishes.

4 Star Princesa Playa Hotel Marbella
The Princesa Playa Marbella is a modern apart-hotel situated on the Paseo Maritimo sea front between the sports and fishing harbours: It is just a five minute walk from Marbella’s Owl Town and 5 km from Puerto Banus.
The Princesa Playa has 64 studios and 36 one bedroom apartments, all of them equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite television, telephone, kitchenette with microwave, private terrace and optional in-room safe. All rooms have a shower or bath plus a hair dryer

Hotel Claude
Hotel Claude is a small and privately owned luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Marbella’s Old Town.
It is built within a 17th-century mansion townhouse and has a unique stucco façade. It used to be an artists’ club and has now been sympathetically and meticulously restored preserving all the architectural and original features of the house.
Guest accommodation at The Hotel Claude comprises seven rooms and suites around the galleries of the main patio. All rooms have unique themes and are furnished with fine fabrics, large beds, terracotta floors and sandstone baths.
The stunning public areas feature marble columns, carved wooden doors with contemporary salons and a bijou style black and white restaurant.
Our opinion: I went for breakfast to a beautiful Hotel Claude right in the heart of Marbella Old Town. Breakfast and it was delicious. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout with rich purples, silver, glass, leather, fur and everything matches perfectly. The bedrooms have the huge vaulted ceilings with stunning decoration.
it’s a great place for a romantic break or for a small party who want to take over the whole hotel for a special occasion

La Villa Marbella
La Villa Marbella is a 150 year old house located inside the romantic Old Town just three minutes from Orange Square and 7 minutes from the beach

Town House Marbella
The Town House is a privately owned pensión in a great central location in Marbella’s Old Town. The décor is a mixture of antique objects and modern design, right down to the finest detail.
It is a couple of minutes walk from Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square) and about 300 metres from the beach and esplanade. It is in an area which is full of bars and restaurants.
There is a roof terrace which has great views over Marbella and looks out to the mountains or sea where you can take your morning coffee or a cool drink or you might prefer to use the breakfast room or bar/lounge in the hotel’s entrance.
The Town House has just 9 tastefully decorated rooms over four floors. They come well equipped with an ensuite bathroom, satellite television and internet connection.
Our opinion: Some friends of mine stayed at the Town House and couldn't stop raving about it. The service was par excellence and they fell totally in love with the place. Its great location in the centre of Marbella meant they could walk everywhere.
