Hotels At Malaga Airport
The Holiday Inn Express is more or less on the airport complex. The Novatel Hotel is also a good bet as it offers a free shuttle service to to and from the airport.
If you don't mind staying a little further away then there is also a selection of hotels in Malaga City - which, in my opinion, is one of Europe's most underrated cities. Malaga City is about a fifteen minute taxi ride from the airport.

Its the nearest hotel to Malaga Airport, just a couple of minutes by taxi / shuttle bus.
It is also situated with good access to Malaga City and Malaga Beaches.

Novotel Hotel Malaga Airport - Malaga Airport Hotel
The Novatel is also very close to the airport, around 2kms away. You can't walk it but there is a FREE shuttle bus that operates between 6am and 10 am and again at night, between 7pm and midnight.
As you would expect the Novatel offers good value for money and is perfect for an overnight stay before a flight.
It's not overly large with 155 rooms and it does offer WIFI in your room and in the main recpetion areas. There is also a bar and restaurant within the hotel. Room service is also on offer.

The Ibis Hotel is situated close to the Airport, although you do need to go via a taxi.

The Beaches and City centre are just a few minutes drive away and so is the Airport. There is also a bar and restaurant at the ibis.
