Flights To Malaga From Newcastle
Newcastle airport offers a good choice of flights to Malaga with the airlines easyJet, flythomascook.com charter, Jet2.com and Thomson Flights
When you land at Malaga Airport and need to get a bus or taxi to your onward destination then you will find the stops and rank on the forecourt of the arrivals hall of Terminal 3.
You can catch buses here into Malaga City Centre bus terminus which is about a 20 minute journey (depending on traffic) with a number of stops. Or there is an express non-stop coach service into Marbella bus station which is situated outside the town centre. The journey time is about 40 minutes and you can get connections from here to other resorts along the Costa del Sol including Fuengirola, Mijas, Puerto Banus, San Pedro and Estepona plus some inland destinations including Ronda, Mijas and Granada.
The bus station in Malaga is directly opposite the Maria Zambrano Railway Station (accessed by train from Malaga Airport). From here you can get buses to destinations which are much further afield including Almeria, Seville, Alhaurin el Grande and Tarifa.

In the public zone at Newcastle Airport you will find the Whistlestop Convenience Store and W H Smith. In the passenger only zone there is Accessorize, Biza duty free, Boots, Claire's, Dixons, Kids Store, JD Sports, Traveller and W H Smith. If you want to get something to eat and drink then Echo Bar, Greggs and Starbucks are in the public zone and Bar des Voyageurs, Burger King, Café Ritazza, Eagle Bar Diner, Real Food Company and Caviar House & Prunier can be found in the departures lounge. Tyne and Wear Metro is a light rail system with 60 stations serving Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside and South Tyneside There is a direct metro link from the Newcastle Airport to Newcastle Central Station with a journey time of less than 30 minutes. There are trains every 12 minutes from approximately 05:44 (Sundays 06:27) to 23:58 If you are travelling to Sunderland the journey takes around 55 with trains every 12 minutes (evenings and Sundays every 15 minutes) from approximately 05:44 to 22:57. They all offer secure parking with CCTV systems, electronically controlled entry and exit barriers, and regular patrols. Special assistance bays are available in the Short Stay, Medium Stay, Long Stay, and Express Pick Up and Drop Off car parks at Newcastle Airport. If you are away for more than a couple of days long stay parking is the cheapest option with a free 24 hour shuttle coach service operating 7 days a week to transfer passengers to and from the Newcastle Airport terminal which is only a few minutes away.
