Flights from Malaga to Gerona
You can fly from Malaga Costa del Sol Airport to Gerona with the budget airline Ryanair.
If you are planning a trip to Gerona and flying from Malaga Airport then it is worth bearing in mind that Barcelona Airport is close by and you will get a much wider choice of flights operating into the larger hub.
You will probably find that it is cheaper to fly into Girona, but if the flight timetables mean that you have to fly into Barcelona there is a regular bus service connecting the two airports which takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Or you can get a train but this means getting into Barcelona city centre to get to the railway station as there is no service from the airport, and this all adds on to the journey time.
