Flights from Malaga Airport to Barcelona
You have a good choice of flights from Malaga Airport to Barcelona with the low cost airline Ryanair just launching a new route as well as Spanair and Vueling Airlines flying there.
If you are planning on flying from Malaga to Barcelona or Girona bear in mind that these airports are quite close to one another, so you widen your options if you check the timetables of airlines which operate to both airports.
You will also quite probably find that it is cheaper to fly into Girona, but if you are staying in Barcelona the regular bus service does take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Or you can get a train but this means getting into Girona town centre to get to the railway station as there is no service from the airport, and this all adds on time.
You can also fly into Reus (bus journey to Barcelona about 1 hour 30 minutes) but this is a smaller airport with less flights choice and less regular connecting bus or rain services.
