If you are lucky enough to be faced with a choice of airlines which can transport you to or from Malaga Airport then you might like to have a look at the fact sheet we have compiled on Flybe Airlines.
It's always difficult to weigh up the pros and cons, so to help you we have listed the main items we check when making a reservation. By doing this on one page it makes it easier to compare what's on offer with other airlines you are considering.

Making your Reservation
| Booking your Seats | If you are travelling in Flybe Economy Plus you may pre-book your seat at no additional cost. Flybe Economy travellers can pre-assign their seat for £6.50/€8.50 per flight sector for standard seats and £15/€22 for seats occupying an emergency exit or bulkhead¹. Emergency exit and bulkhead seats may also be requested at the airport and are charged at £18/€26. You may pre-book your seat up to 24 hours before the time of your flight. |
| Booking Fees | With Flybe a booking fee applies to each passenger per one way flight, plus a small additional credit card supplement is applied:

| Passengers with Special Needs | Contact specialassistance@flybe.com or telephone +44 1392 268500 if you have special needs and require assistance. You should notify them of your requirements at least 48 hours before travel. |
| Flying with animals | Flybe restricts the carriage of all cats and dogs as cargo only. The animals are carried in the holds of the aircraft. For further information contact Globe Air Cargo on +44 (0) 2087 574776. |
| Travel Insurance | You can book travel insurance (single trip or annual) with Flybe as part of your flight booking. |
Changing Your Booking
| Name Change | Name changes can be made via up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight you are booked on. Name change charges for all passengers are as follows: £40/€50 per passenger, per single flight plus any difference between the fare paid and the lowest available fare at the time of the change |
| Flight Change | Flybe flights may be changed up to 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the flight you are booked on. Flybe Economy Plus flights can be changed free of charge. To make changes online to Economy flights costs: £27.50/€40 per passenger per single flight sector plus any difference between the fare paid and the lowest available fare for your new flights. If the new fare is lower no refund will be given. If you make the change at a Flybe ticket desk or through the customer call centre:£32.50/€45 per passenger, per single flight as above |
All About Baggage
| Hold Baggage | Flybe Economy Plus passengers can carry up to 40kg of hold baggage free of charge. By paying in advance for 1 bag, Flybe Economy passengers can carry up to 20kg in a single bag or, by paying in advance for a second bag, increase the allowance to 40kg The maximum weight for any single item of checked in baggage is 30kg. |
| Hand/Cabin Baggage | You can carry 1 piece of hand baggage on board Flybe aircraft. The maximum permitted dimensions (including handles and wheels) are 50 x 35 x 23cm and it should not exceed 10kg in weight. If you are travelling in Flybe Economy Plus you may also carry a laptop. |
| Excess Baggage | Excess baggage is carried on a standby basis only with Flybe. Carriage will only take place if there is space available in the hold and will be charged at £12/€14 per kilo for the first 3 kilos, £15/€17 per kilo for between 4 and 6 kilos and £20/€23 for every kilo thereafter. |
| Children's Equipment | You can carry 1 push chair or pram and 1 car seat for each child or infant free of charge with Flybe. |
| Sports Equipment | Exceptional items (golf clubs, snow boards, surf boards, bicycles, large musical instruments etc.) may be carried at a charge of £28/€30 per item single flight. Carriage is subject to space and weight and not as part of the personal allowance. |
At the Airport
| Online check in | Flybe offers online check in and the option to print off your boarding pass. You can check in online from 36 hours and up to 1 hour before your flight departs If you are unable to check in online, self service kiosks, available at most major airports, offer the most convenient way to check in. |

| Fast Bag Drop | Flybe fast bag drop desks are open from 3 hours prior to departure and close 60 minutes before departure. Allow plenty of time for checking in your baggage, clearing security and proceeding to departures as some departure gates are some distance from check-in. |
| Airport Lounges | If you are flying Flybe Economy Plus you have access to lounges at the following UK airports: Aberdeen, Belfast City , Birmingham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Guernsey, Inverness, Jersey, London Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton |
During Your Flight
| On Board Meals/Snacks | A wide selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches are available to purchase on board Flybe flights. To give you some idea of prices: Tea/coffee is £2.20, sandwiches from £3.95 and bottled water is £1.70 |
| Use of laptop. MP3 player, etc | Portable games, lap tops and stereos can be used during the flight but not during take off and landing. Mobile phones must be turned off before boarding and not switched on until well inside the airport terminal building. |
