Flights To Malaga From Edinburgh
The low cost airline Ryanair is the only operator which offers direct flights from Edinburgh in Scotland to Malaga. If you cannot find a flight which meets your requirements you might like to consider flying from Glasgow Airport to Malaga which gives you a much wider choice of airlines.
The main exit from Malaga Airport is from the new terminal 3 at Malaga Airport. Make sure you follow the signs and go down the escalators to baggage reclaim (even if you only have hand luggage) as this is the where the car hire desks, bus stops and taxi rank are.
Malaga Airport has a new high speed automated luggage system so hopefully you will be able to get your bags checked in quickly and not wait for them for too long before they arrive on the luggage carousel in the baggage hall.
If you want to get to your final destination as quickly as possible when you arrive in Spain then queuing for buses or waiting at a taxi rank is obviously not the best option.
I find the quickest and easiest way of getting from the airport to your holiday accommodation is to book a private transfer. You can organise this before you travel and get an online quote and pre-book the driver and vehicle (paying by credit card in advance). After you have cleared security and collected your luggage you will be met at a pre-arranged point by the driver who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for onward transport to your holiday destination.
