If you are trying to keep your costs down and have some flexibility on the dates you can travel, then compare the prices of mid week flights to those closer to either side of the weekend and you are almost certain to find that they are cheaper.  Also if you are able to travel every early in the morning or late at night you will find that charges for these times are often lower.

Finally if you are planning a holiday without children then avoid the months of July of August when families book to coincide with the school summer holidays.  These months are the hottest, most crowded and most expensive in Spain.
