Malaga flights from Bristol
You have a good choice of flights when booking your trip from Bristol Airport to Malaga Costa del Sol Airport as four airlines Ryanair, flythomascook.com charter, Thomson Flights and easyJet all operate from there.
The average flying time from Bristol to Malaga is just under three hours, but when you are looking at the airline timetables it will appear nearer to four as Spain is one hour ahead of the UK and all times quoted are local.
I live in Spain but travel backwards and forwards to the UK on a regular basis and am always amazed at the number of travellers who arrive at their destination airport without making any arrangements or looked into how to get to their final destination.
Certainly all of the larger Spanish Airports have taxi ranks outside the arrivals hall, and the ones which connect to popular holiday resorts operate regular bus services. Taxis can be an expensive option in Spain as they charge on a per kilometre rate and do not operate on a meter, so always ask the taxi driver for a quote to your destination before you set off . Spanish taxi drivers have a book which sets down the fares (but does not state the destination) and they often point to a figure that they pick at random - so make sure you check what the likely fare is before you leave the UK. Although bear in mind this will fluctuate by a few euros depending on the time of day you are travelling and if it is a Sunday or public holiday.
A lot of the bus routes operate on a circular line so timetables are not always very easy to read. Again check on the bus company’s website to make sure of the bus number and times before you leave the UK.
